Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-23
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how VideoFarm (the "Service") handles information when a creator connects a social media account and uses the Service to generate or publish short-form video content.
2. Information collected
- OAuth authorization tokens. When a creator connects a TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram account, the platform issues VideoFarm an access token (and, where applicable, a refresh token). VideoFarm stores these tokens to publish content the creator configures.
- Basic connected-account profile fields.Where exposed by the connected platform — for example, TikTok's
open_id, display name, and avatar — so the creator can confirm which account they connected. - Content the creator generates or submits. Scripts, captions, voice selections, generated audio, and rendered video files, as needed to run the generation pipeline and publish to the platforms the creator has connected.
3. How this information is used
Information is used only to:
- Render the creator's requested videos and captions.
- Publish those videos to the creator's own connected TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram accounts at the creator's direction.
- Display connected-account status in the VideoFarm interface so the creator knows which account is currently authorized.
VideoFarm does not sell user data and does not share it with third parties beyond the platforms the creator has explicitly connected and the generation infrastructure described below.
4. Third-party services
Generation and rendering rely on third-party APIs and services, including: TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pexels (stock footage), Pixabay (stock footage fallback), Microsoft edge-tts (voice synthesis), and large language model providers used to draft scripts. Use of those services is covered by their own privacy policies.
5. Retention and deletion
Authorization tokens are retained only as long as needed to publish content the creator has configured. A creator can revoke VideoFarm's access at any time from the connected platform's own settings, which invalidates the stored token. Generated scripts and video files are retained so the creator can review or re-publish them, and can be deleted on request.
6. Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect stored tokens and content; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Creators should treat connected-account access as sensitive and revoke authorization from the connected platform if a concern arises.
7. Children
VideoFarm is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes
This Policy may be updated as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
